Our assignment was to design a villain in two of three different styles. These two are my attempt at art deco and a combination of Inca & Mayan art. I spent most of my time researching Erte, he's amazing!

Halloween, a bit late

ehhhh, not so sure about this layout....wish I had more time to spend on it!

Two Pans

Mrs. Peacock

She was a vis dev assignment, we were supposed to design her character based on an audio clip from David Sedaris. She was his creepy babysitter who made the children scratch her back with a monkey claw back scratcher!

We were supposed to design three siblings: the outcast, the goofball, and the perfect one. I might've done a better job if I actually had siblings of my own. :)

...aaand some more outcasts. They're the most fun.

for mom & dad

I made this card for my dad, for Father's day. When my mom saw it though, she realized that although I'd told her I'd drawn something for her on Mother's day, I never gave it to I gave her a mother's day card on father's day as well. Just a little late!

I saw this crazy old lady stealing this dinosaur out of a baby store the other day while I was working at McConnell's. She was practically sprinting down the street with this baby brontosaurus, and she had no idea I had a perfect view of her from the window. Come on, lady, you really thought you could get away with that?? I'm sure he was expensive if bought for full price, but really...

okay, I didn't really see this lady stealing a dinosaur. But I did see her stealing a stuffed giraffe from the baby store that was taller than her, and she looked equally ridiculous. Okay, she might have even paid for it. But that is even crazier to me! What kind of baby needs a $500 stuffed giraffe that is 20 times its size? If I was a baby, I would be terrified of that thing.
