it's me again!

First character design assignment of the year is the same as the first assignment last year, draw yourself. So, I drew a lot of me. FOURTH YEAR, LET'S GO!

BIGSUR

I also went to Big Sur last week. We stayed at Limekiln state park and also went to the hot springs at the Esalen Institute in the middle of the night. It was so beautiful, I can't wait to go back!

Re-Envisioning America

Here's a mockup I drew of a diorama-type sculpture I did for the Re-Envisioning America project. My piece was inspired by the song "Rocky Road," from Harry Smith's Anthology of American Folk Music. I'll post pictures of the real thing here, soon.

Hansel & Gretel

I decided to do Hansel and Gretel with an Aboriginal tribe in the Australian rainforest. All my research with this project inspired me to make my film in a similar setting, so some of these guys might be in my film, too.
